Out-of-Hospital Birth Preparation Workshop
This comprehensive, evidence-informed childbirth education workshop is designed for parents planning an out-of-hospital birth at a birth center or at home with a licensed midwife. You’ll gain the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to prepare for physiologic birth while also understanding how to navigate unexpected situations if your birth takes a different path.
Whether this is your first baby or you’re adding to your family, you’ll leave understanding not only what happens during labor and birth, but why it happens, how to work with your body, and how to make informed decisions throughout your birth experience.

Small class size (maximum 6 couples) allows plenty of time for discussion and personalized questions. My goal isn’t to teach you one “right” way to give birth. It’s to help you understand the normal process of birth, prepare for the unexpected, and walk into your birth feeling informed, supported, and confident in your ability to navigate whatever your birth brings.

In-Hospital Birth Preparation Workshop
This interactive 5-hour workshop prepares you for the realities of labor, birth, and the unexpected. You’ll learn not only what happens during birth, but why, what your options are, and how to confidently navigate decisions if your birth takes a different path than planned.
Whether you’re hoping for an unmedicated birth, planning an epidural, scheduling an induction, or preparing for a cesarean birth, you’ll leave feeling informed, confident, and ready.

Body Ready Birth Workshop
The Body Ready Birth Workshop is a comprehensive one-day class that includes online access to educational videos and information after completion. Please note that this workshop is specifically focused on body mechanics and positioning during labor and is not a comprehensive childbirth education class. We strongly recommend taking a full childbirth education birthing class as well, ideally early in your pregnancy, to ensure you have complete preparation for your birth experience.
In the Body Ready Birth Workshop, you’ll learn how to work with your body’s natural design during labor. You’ll discover what to do with your body during each stage of labor, when to use specific positions and movements, and why these techniques help labor progress smoothly and efficiently. We’ll cut through the endless tips and tricks you find online and focus on what truly works, giving you evidence-based techniques that support your body’s innate birthing abilities.
By the end of our body ready birthing class, you’ll have complete confidence knowing exactly what works best for your body and how to use movement and positioning effectively throughout labor. Plus, your partner will learn specific, hands-on techniques they can use to actively support your progress and provide comfort during labor and birth.

Postpartum and Newborn Care Fundamentals
This center is designed to equip registered couples with essential knowledge and skills for the postpartum period and caring for their newborn. Participants will learn about vital subjects, including
Postpartum Recovery: Understanding physical and emotional changes after birth, managing pain, and recognizing signs of postpartum complications.
Breastfeeding Techniques: Practical guidance on breastfeeding positions, latch techniques, and addressing common challenges.
Newborn Care Basics: Essential skills for baby care, including bathing, diapering, swaddling, and recognizing feeding cues.
Safety Practices: Information on safe sleep practices, car seat safety, and creating a safe home environment for the newborn.
Self-Care for Parents: Tips on maintaining wellness, managing sleep deprivation, and cultivating support systems.
Family Dynamics: Discussing the transition to parenthood and how to maintain strong relationships during this period.
This class aims to foster confidence and preparedness for both parents as they embark on their journey of parenthood.
