Huge news, folks--In thanks for our military families' sacrifices, The Birthing Inn has been working tirelessly to get "certified" with TriCare as an accepted birth facility.
That means our military families don't have to pay out of pocket for birth at The Inn any longer. Their TriCare Standard/Select insurance will cover the facility fee just as any civilian-based insurance would.
With TRICARE Select
- You can schedule an appointment with any TRICARE-authorized provider. An authorized provider is any individual, institution/organization, or supplier that is licensed by a state, accredited by national organization, or meets other standards of the medical community, and is certified to provide benefits under TRICARE. There are two types of TRICARE-authorized providers: Network and Non-Network.
- You don’t need a referral, but some services might require prior authorization from Health Net.
